Brazil regime, democracy, and developement

Thesis idea
Arguing that semi-authoritarian regime has made them a Brics nations and their political move towards democracy and how it benefited the country. If everyone can come up with a main idea to write off of this that would be perfect. I can open the paper with the thesis and talk about how brazils authoritarian remigme works currently.

Final project topic

We really need to have a topic set so we can get this paper done. Lorena, i remember professor kelley mentioning about a topic for us and you had the notes on it. If you could post those on here that would be great. I hope we can have our individual parts done by thanksgiving so we can have it edited by the time december hits. We also need to get a general idea for our presentation. if you have any ideas then please share

Final Project Topic

For the project we will be writing about Brazil's economy and how it has risen from 1985 till today. We will focus on natural resources, inflation, and manufacturing. The topics taken already are exported good and how they effect the economy, soybean production, the mining industry, self sustainable agricultural jubs with coffe and sugarcane, and unequal distribution of wealth. Anyone who did not make it today needs to come up with their own idea to write on. Everyone should have their main focus set by monday so we can start working on this soon.
